Overall a good hotel and one we shall use again. We particularly appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the room. An excellent alternative to poor breakfast menus in adjacent restaurant

From first arrival was warm young man manning the desk very helpful chatty and friendly shame couldn't be said for the rest of the staff. Beds beware soft doest come close woke up with my feet higher than my head no air con = not the best night sleep. On arrival back to the hotel after being out was greated by what i can only describe as a uber delivery person on a large electric scooter who was struggling to get back out of the entrance from the rooms to the main reception why would you let people in to the building with such a lave vehicle but also such a large fire risk with the battries on board. Overall nice hotel just needs some slightly higher standards

The staff at Peartree Lodge were amazing. It was a last minute decision to stay with them after a cancellation, and it was the best thing to have happened. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and content with our room and offered great advice when checking in. It is situated by the canal and we had a lovely view of the boats and some wildlife. The hotel allows you to bring takeaways to your room, has on site catering and a microwave all of which was handy for us as we had early starts and late nights attending the British Grand Prix. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Although the decor and furniture in the room felt dated, everything was clean and perfectly serviceable. Great touch to have a fridge and microwave in the room, with free hot drinks and biscuits very welcome. Good location for Milton Keynes and good pub next door.

Decent little hotel and good value
It's only a three-star hotel but it was a pretty decent stay for what we required. If you get a view over the canal boats in the marina it's really picturesque. Yes this place isn't located near many local restaurants etc but it does have the Stonehouse pub next door which is totally separate. It's very similar to a Premier Inn and Beefeater arrangement. The evening meals are fairly good value. £6.99 buffet breakfast is really good value There may be some aspects around the hotel that might need improving but it's a three star hotel not a five-star hotel. You get what you pay for! The rooms were really clean and it's the first time I've seen a microwave in a hotel room which is useful if you want takeaways delivered. If you need somewhere that is very good value close to Milton Keynes then I would thoroughly recommend this place. Have a look at some of the previous positive comments because I totally agree with them, ignore the negatives. Staff were friendly and helpful.
