"The Depot is conveniently located and a great place to stay! It was clean, spacious, all the amenities and lots of parking.Check-in was a breeze. Looking to grill, but don’t want to miss the game, news, or game show? No problem, there is a TV outside next to the grill. Kids want to play games? Send them to the Golden Tee arcade. As others have mentioned the trains are close and loud. In our stay it seemed like more Fri night than Sat, but I don’t know if that holds in the future. Would definitely stay again!"

"Perfect location for anyone in town for a Field of Dreams baseball tournament! We were within 2 miles of the field locations for the tournament and a roughly 12-15 minute drive to the movie site. The house itself was perfect for a team's headquarters. We had the entire team and three chaperones stay in the house to keep an eye on things. The property had plenty of space for the boys to rest and relax to prepare for the games, as well as plenty of options for a whiffle ball game, basketball or throwing a football around. The kitchen is well appointed and large enough to get meals out for a team. The highlight of the space is the outdoor patio, where there is plenty of room for the parents to come and hang out during off times and to have a bite to eat. The communication from the host was second to none and any request were promptly addressed."

"This house was perfect for our weekend baseball tournament! There was plenty of room for us to hang out when we weren’t at the ball field and we had everything we needed and more. The house is clean and very cozy. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings while the kids played on the swing set and played with Willow. Sharon was very easy to communicate with and answered very quickly. We walked to the field of dreams several times. It was a wonderful stay and we will for sure stay here again if we come back!"

"The property was spacious and comfortable. We love the vault door to the laundry room. The sofa and bed were very, very comfortable all of them, and it was a well laid out kitchen for a former small town bank. We would highly recommend it. If you love trains and barges on the Mississippi river and a small town community feeling, this is the retreat for you."

"House is a remodeled turn of the century 1900s) farmhouse, with plenty of history and modern touches. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided. Beautiful property and close enough to town to explore. Enough bedrooms for 8. Quiet place to relax. Will stay again!"
