Easy drive to state parks, other river towns. The kitchen & living area were very welcoming - the sofa, very comfortable. The matresses and pillows were mediocre, although clean and sufficient. Some attention to repairs is needed, which I shared with the owner/manager. This rental would be best for those without young children or mobility issues (due to stairs to living space). There is a chair lift, however, it was not working while we stayed. However, the description did not indicate that it was on the 2nd floor, and one of us has mobility issues. After completing the booking I saw there was a chair lift; but upon arriving we learned from the host the lift was not working. This was a significant problem. We were forced to leave after only 1 day of our planned 2 day visit, and the host did not offer a refund. We would not have booked here had the description been more accurate. The balcony patio was fantastic, we sat out there in mornings to enjoy the views and then we ate our supper out there one evening while enjoying the beautiful weather!
