Find hotels in Mfolozi from CA $42

The best time to visit Mfolozi is during the dry winter months, from May to September.

During this period, the vegetation is sparser, making it easier to spot wildlife as animals congregate around the remaining water sources. The weather is generally cooler and more comfortable for game drives and other outdoor activities, with less humidity and fewer insects. This is ideal for travellers looking for a more comfortable and productive safari experience.

For those who prefer a greener landscape and the chance to see newborn animals, the wet summer months from October to April can also be appealing. While wildlife viewing can be more challenging due to thicker vegetation and more scattered water, the park is lush and vibrant, and birdwatching is exceptional during this time.
