Hotel Riu Santa Fe - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"The property was very clean, and our room was cleaned daily. The food was OK overall, but we enjoyed breakfast the most. I especially liked that they served menudo every morning. The restaurant staff were always friendly and attentive. The minibar in the room was a nice touch, and the mini fridge was stocked with various sodas and Dos Equis. The pools were cleaned daily, and the drinks at the bars were constantly flowing. The Riu White, Pink, and Neon parties were a lot of fun and definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The beach was beautiful and clean, with gorgeous turquoise water. Just be careful because those rip currents don’t play around! Overall, it was a fun, clean, and relaxing resort with great service and a lively atmosphere."

"Upgraded rom is nice and a must for families with kids. The Kids Club is very basic and for independent care over age 5. Under you have to accompany for 1 hour duration. Large group booking is impossible. We did enjoy the gelato counter. The main pool was where we mostly stayed at. In June, but the water was cold so our kids took over the hot tub which was not close to being hot. They had a Legendary pool for upgraded guest and timeshare guest that is way better and maintained how I expect it. Wouldn’t pay full price for nights here, only worth it on deals. Remember to tip your daily room service and cocktail staff!"

"This hotel blew away my expectations. The hotel was older but clean and well set out. The rooms were bigger than I expected, as I’d only reserved a standard room. Staff were attentive and exceptionally polite and were always asking if we needed anything. Beach and pool and location of hotel was perfect. I really can’t find any negatives. The slightest of blips was when we arrived at the hotel at 2:15 PM and had to wait 45 minutes for our room to be ready at 3 PM. I’m not a big deal as we went and grabbed snacks and a drink, and even then the staff apologies and gave us restaurant vouchers. Will be returning for sure in the future"

"The resort is at a nice location with a very good beach. The swim-up rooms are very nice since you have you own personal outdoor space right off your room. The food at all restaurants is okay but nothing spectacular. I wish there were a few more options where you could just grab a bite stating in your swim gear, like a taco bar or some churros or quesadillas. Overall, it’s a very nice resort and highly recommended."
