Your app indicates that the hotel is pet friendly. After driving 8 hours through the Mexican desert we got to Tepic. It took several missed turns in this very old city to find the hotel. I went in to check in and told the reception that I was there with my wife and my dog. TWICE!!!!!! Checked in and got all of our luggage, got to the lobby with our dog and was promptly told that they didn’t accept pets. (None of the hotels in Tepic takes pets, yet your app says thar many do). The reception gave us an address for another hotel that turned out to be a concert venue. If not for two very nice young men we’d have had to spend the night on our car with our dog and cat. They found us a private residence. So as far as I’m concerned either Expedia or the Hotel needs to give us a $ 1000.00 USD credit or cash for the danger you put my wife and my animals in.
