« Definitely a cabin in the woods, which was just what we were looking for! We enjoyed the wonderful views through the windows, the shower experience, the comfortable bed, and building a fire under the shelter. This is definitely a rustic experience, its not a fancy cabin- but a simple cabin in the woods, that allows you to "camp" with all of the amenities provided. We loved it. »

« The property is perfect. They have everything you need. Just pack your food and clothes, everything else is provided! Dog friendly, fenced yard, they even had leashes. Pete lives right behind the cabin and is happy to answer any questions. Nice quiet street, great fire pit. »

« We were absolutely enthralled with this cabin. It was a beautiful building with well stocked kitchen, bathroom and wood for fire pit. The owner went above an beyond to give us information, and helped us with all questions. We travel at least yearly to cabins throughout Ohio, and this one was the best of all. « It was our first family cabin trip and we loved the experience. The property was nice and spacious and fit the 9 of us there. We were 3 teens and 6 adults and were able to fit in the main cabin. We also checked out oil creek state park. Our only issue was the low heat when using the stove for cooking. 9/10 would recommend. »

« Stephanie contacted us to let us know we could get in early. Everything was wonderful. Spacious, clean, anything you need is available. Beds were comfortable, walked to dam for fireworks, great deck for morning coffee, tv that was not turned on! Highly recommend this place. 5plus stars. We will be back. »

« A quaint, clean, cozy cottage on the side of the wooded ravine overlooking a rippling creek. We enjoyed setting on the deck hearing the water flow and the birds sing.We enjoyed walking alongside the creek.Gwens cabin is so cute and everyone was very welcoming.We hiked several beautiful waterfalls around the area. Most were pretty easy hikes.When we left we drove into Ellwood and had a scrumptious breakfast at Breaking Bread.It was a wonderful break from city life and we plan to go back again....
