"Incredible home and incredible property in a lovely area. We walked for fresh bread and croissants every morning, explored the region and then refreshed in the pool and listened to the frogs in the pond every evening. The home has such incredible history and we spent the entire week exploring the Dordogne and Vezere river valleys, gardens and castles and falling in love with the medieval town of Sarlat. We hope to come back again soon."

"We stayed at the property for our wedding recently and had 40 people in total attending the wedding, with 30 staying on site at both the chateau and gites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wedding was wonderful. The area is very pretty but pretty isolated. The chateau and gites are beautifully decorated and fully furnished. "We enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very kind and patient with us as our French is poor. They helped our understanding so much. The swimming pool was lovely but the weather wasn't good at the beginning. Our hosts left tourist leaflets so that we could easily plan our fantastic days out. "

The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
