Direct surroundings not too exciting, but only short drive to wonderful Smith Point beach and good base to further explore Long Island. The house was perfect for a getaway and actually looks better than it does in the photos. The house combines large communal areas for family gatherings, while also including a few nooks for whenever any of us needed a bit of "me" time. It was clean, there were plentiful linens, and the kitchen was really well stocked. The neighborhood was safe with Smith Point beaches nearby.
