Paid parking is available at 99 Maple Ave. on the right for those arriving at the ferry terminal by car. As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by a simple yet sunny interior that will delight you immediately. Drop your bags and kick your feet up in the living area, or step outside to the private gated deck and spend your evening relaxing. When you return from the beach, the outdoor shower will be ready to help you rinse off the sand. Seaview is a short five-minute walk away, while Ocean Beach is only a mile from you, giving you even more options while out and about. Went into the rental and couch was very cruddy. We used bikes with the lock combo they provided (worked) and then later tried to unlock and the combo no longer work. Contacted property manager who said I was lying! Provided video proof, no reply. Later came back to property at midnight to sleep discovered bedbugs on pull out couch and main bed! Had to scramble to move to hotel so didn't even sleep there. Came home a day early, and even though I immediately did laundry, vaccummed luggage, saw a bedbug on my floor this morning. It’s hard to find a place that is not a busy hotel or large rental. I needed some quite time alone and this was a perfect spot for me. It would also be good for a couple or small family. There are no cars on Fire Island so you have to walk everywhere or rent a bike. This place is conveniently located - close to the ferry, centrally located in Ocean Bay Park, and a two block walk to the beach. The place was clean and comfortable. It had a kitchen and outdoor grill so I enjoyed cooking while I was there. Every night I took a walk to the ferry dock to see amazing sunsets. The two busy restaurants / bars are a short walk away if you’re interested in the social scene. There is a small grocery store within walking distance as well. Most impressive was the Vacasa staff that saw to it I had everything I needed and that my stay was very enjoyable. I definitely can’t wait to visit again. 🌞🌊 ##### Joanna C. Patrick and the crew were great. Always minutes away when we needed anything. Property is charming. Right off the ferry. 15 minute walk to ocean beach. Bikes not in good condition but theres a bike shop around the corner for easy rentals. Property had beach chairs, wagon, and umbrella which was a plus. Kitchen was small but fully functional so it was perfect for us. Would definitely rent this unit again. ##### Johayra R. We were told there would be access to an outdoor shower,AC, toiletries, linens and a grill. We did not have access to the outdoor shower, there was no AC, toiletries or extra linens. There was no lighter to start the grill or any utensils or tools to use it. We were asked to keep the thermostat at 68 , there was no thermostat. ##### Hannah B.
