"This hotel is actually not a hotel but a few rooms attached to the villa volpi hotel, a 10 minute steep walk up the hill. All meals and staff are found at villa volpi, there are no real facilities to speak of at suite accommodation. It's not as discribed in the information at all. In fact, we chose to upgrade for €70/night to stay at villa volpi. I would recommend villa volpi but not suite accommodation "

"Road to property virtually inaccessible. Very remote to the point of no restaurant shops or anything really unless you drive 30 minutes near Lucca for nearest small supermarket . On arrival was asked for 300 euros cash deposit which didn’t have and then 20 euros per person for cleaning which would be taken off the deposit this was not made clear on website .
