"They stay was relatively comfortable. However, on Saturday morning their maintenance staff decided that 8am was the best time to start drilling into the concrete to repair a set of steps. When we mentioned it to the staff at check out, we were told we should have called in the morning. The guests should not have to make a noise complaint at 8am on a Saturday. Especially when it is hotel staff making the noise."

"The hotel is conveniently located close to a freeway entrance. The breakfast had a cook that would make to order eggs.it was simple but good. The room was spacious but a coffee maker was missing. Also, the bathroom in our room needed to be remodeled. Other that that, fairly good."

"Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. The cleanliness was very poor. As soon as I walked into the room, there was a strong smell of dirt and mustiness. The bathtub was in bad condition, and the water would not drain properly, leaving it standing like a small pool. In addition, the carpet had a very unpleasant, dirty odor that made the room uncomfortable to stay in. I'm sorry to leave such a negative review, but I think it's important for other guests to know about my experience. I have stayed at other hotels in the same chain, and this one is nowhere near the same standard of cleanliness, maintenance, or overall quality. It was very disappointing."

"We enjoyed our stay at Laguna Hills Lodge much more than we expected. I was initially a little nervous because the staff did not seem very approachable during check-in, but thankfully that first impression did not reflect the rest of our experience. The property is beautiful, with vibrant flowers, lush landscaping, and a peaceful, oasis-like atmosphere. It ended up being one of our favorite hotel stays in a long time. The location was fantastic. We were close to Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove, and several restaurants, including In-N-Out, Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane’s, and Farmer Boys. Traveling with a 7- and 10-year-old, I felt safe walking with them to these restaurants, and the hotel was visible from most of them. We loved being close to everything while avoiding the beach traffic and noise. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel felt safe throughout our stay. We also appreciated having access to Netflix on the TV, which made evenings easier with kids. The pool, landscaping, and overall atmosphere honestly made us enjoy this property more than some Best Western and Hilton stays we've had. The only downside was the breakfast. While there were some good cereal options, the selection and quality were not appealing to my picky 7-year-old or to me as an adult. Despite that, everything else was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend Laguna Hills Lodge to families looking for a clean, safe, relaxing, and conveniently located place to stay."
