"This hotel was the one-night magical stay we were hoping it would be. It felt like a well-maintained step back in time. The breakfast and restaurant were lovely, the staff were very friendly, and the grounds were STUNNING. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was to sit at the restaurant and to be outside - the flowers, the views, the touches. Absolutely loved it! My only disappointment was that we were there for our honeymoon, and even after contacting them before, the hotel didn't acknowledge that in any way. Overall, would recommend it to someone wanting a special "off the beaten path" stay."
Chic 2 bedroom apartment near Chillion castle

"What an awesome location! We loved the access to the lake for evening swims with the kids, and the lakeside promenade to Montreux was perfect to get to the action. The Chillon Castle was about a 5 min walk away.The deck in front was a superb view of Lake Geneva. The directions and self check in were excellent, and the host offered assistance right away when needed. Thank you for sharing such a lovely place with our family of 5."

"We enjoyed our stay at the chalet! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the space was good. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the amazing views and the hot tub in the evenings. The host was great with communication and even met us for an early check-in/tour of the house.Downside, it can be a little inconvenient if you are relying on public transportation like we were. The train station of Caux is about a 10-15 min STEEP walk from the house. Caux to house is down, house to Caux is up. The train runs once an hour. Schedule a taxi/uber in advance if you have luggage to get back to train station."
