Uns wurde von Hotels.com eine Reservierung in einem 3-Sterne-Hotel bestätigt. Hier die Voraussetzungen für ein 1-Stern-Hotel (EIN-Stern): Alle Zimmer mit Dusche oder Badewanne. Alle Zimmer mit Farbfernseher. Tägliche Zimmerreinigung. Bett, Tisch und Stuhl. Seife oder Waschlotion. Handtücher. Empfangsdienst. Zimmertelefon. Und was es in unserem Zimmer NICHT hatte: Dusche oder Badewanne. Farbfernseher bzw. irgendein Fernseher Tisch und Stuhl. Zimmertelefon Der sogenannte Empfangsdienst (Reception) war nie bedient. Man musste läuten und warten, bis jemand aus dem Service oder der Küche Zeit fand. Die Türen zum "Gemeinschaftsbad" (gemeint ist nicht ein Swimming-Pool, sondern EINE Toilette je) quietschte, so dass man nachts ja nie verpasste, wenn jemand mal musste. Draussen vor dem Fenster hatte es eine Fahnenstange (mit Fahne), an welche bei jedem Windstoss (und davon gab es eine Menge) das Drahtseil laut klapperte. Wir überlegen uns noch, ob wir gegen die "Le Coucou Hôtel-Restaurant Sàrl" eine Strafanzeige wegen gewerbsmässigem Betrug einleiten werden. Das ist kein Hotel. Da werden einfach von einem Restaurant Zimmer vermietet. Wonderful place in the mountains above Montreux with glorious views up to the mountains and down to lake Geneva. In summer you can sit outside enjoying the views, in colder weather you can tuck up by the huge fireplace. Very peaceful. It is located moments from the railway to bring you into Montreux. The fondue is excellent too. La vue depuis la terrasse de l'hôtel est superbe, tout comme depuis le balcon de notre chambre. L'équipe très sympathique, serviable et prévenante. La qualité du restaurant : irréprochable. Bref ... une adresse à retenir à 20 mn de Montreux même si la route d'accès est un peu "raide". Das Lowlight war der Morgen: das Frühstück war mit 30 Minuten Verspätung "bereit" - vieles musste noch verlangt werden (Löffel, Butter, Gewürz) und kaum ein Tisch war sauber (vom Vorabend nicht gereinigt. Schade und dafür sind die Preise zu hoch.
