« This is the most expensive cheap hotel I've ever stayed at. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. My room was quiet. The AC worked great, but I had to weigh down the curtains bc they billowed out bc of the AC right under them. The room was clean and the fridge and microwave worked. The location is great- I could walk to the gas station and a restaurant. It's just super old and run down. I'm fine with that bc I just needed a clean place to sleep for the night, but I feel it is overpriced...

« Enjoyed our stay! I liked that there was an alarm. We came in late at night, the area looked a little sketchy at night, had a better view in the daytime, all was good. The location is close to all the stores you could possibly need. The water pressure was less than stellar, especially if you have thick curly hair, lol. The beds were comfortable, but some of the sheets had stains. Over all a pleasant stay, I would stay again. Thank you!! »

« Older property a bit run down. Biggest problem is the smell when opening the front door. Couch has stains and perhaps is part of the smell reason. King bed was good. Remote for bedroom is broken without batteries. Quiet area and very convenient for downtown Alexandria. »

« Unit is in need of repairs and updates. Kitchen sink faucet falling off. Dryer does not work, lack of eating utensils, bathroom tub just worn out. Kitchen drawers barely open. We had gun shots outside the unit the first night we were there. »

However…..There are a bunch of little things that detract from the experience of the stay:* No chest of drawers. * Scuffed walls and baseboards that need paint * A VERY RUSTY shower curtain (C’monnnnn…!)* Used dry cleaner hangars* Towels that have seen better days* A COMPLETELY FILTHY mattress cover!I think all this can be achieved for /- 500. Do that and you’ll get your 5-Star...
