Very interesting old home from 1820 but the property (or at least, the care taker's position) has recently changed hands, so you'll see why the "breakfast" portion of "B & B" is not available right now. No other guests were staying the evening of our visit, so the caretaker gave us a tour of the house, and even let us see the attic. It really is just like the Loyd Hall website states...that there is no one else in the home, in terms of staff members, and if you book one of the inside suites, you will be alone in the house. Very quiet, peaceful setting. We were very comfortable in the Commissary."

Mom said she loved the beds...there was a bit of a climb for a 5'2'' granny...but all the beds were nice. Thanks to Chris and Kiara, we had a great family reunion."
