"We had a 2 night stay over the weekend at Loyd Hall Plantation. We stayed in the Magnolia... The cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of towles, hand towels and wash cloths. We were asked if we needed anything, which we did not. There was Bidy wash, soap, shampoos, conditioners and lotion in the restroom if any was needed. Plenty of coffee, creamer and sugar. The lady thay is the housekeeper went above and beyond to make sure all was good. Over all the stay was amazing and we will be going back soon!"

"I had an amazing silent retreat the breathtaking views and quick drive to the church made it the perfect fit. I’m grateful for all the thoughtful touches that made my stay peaceful and refreshing: the bikes, the beautiful property, the clean drinking water, amazing pool, the relaxing porch swings. "The history and story of restoration were interesting. Most striking were the helpful and personalized communications from the manager and staff. The price paid through Xpedia was reasonable, I would not use the phone number advertised for reservations as it appeared routed to a call center and was a significantly higher price than online booking price. It’s an old building but that is much of the charm and authenticity of this unique venue. The staff appear to take security and hospitality seriously; the modern plumbing and access to a small refrigerator was appreciated. I visited the pool area but did not swim; it appears clean and attractive."
