"The front desk lady receptionist was very friendly and helpful to offer to hold our luggage until check-in at 3 pm. The hotel is unassuming to find out that the dinner was great and our waiter, Lucas was very friendly and personable. Most people were speaking Austrian and/or German but communication with Lucas was transparent because he spoke English so well. Breakfast was very good and clean with very prompt service. The only thing I would ask to improve is to have portable air conditioning units installed. The one in the room was a stand up vertical fan. I would come back and recommend others to this hotel!"

"This is a lonely, fairly small hotel. We stayed in the Panorama Suite which was really spacious, impressive and comfortable with great views. This is a great hotel to be near the zell am see slope, walking distance to rental shops and the slope. The breakfast was nice, although the restaurant is quite small and it does get very busy with everyone wanting to hit the slopes in the morning. There is space at the hotel to store ski equipment, although it is limited and if you stay or later you're not guaranteed space. We were a little disappointed but the facilities, we thought there would be more spa like facilities but it is just a sauna in the basement which we didn't fancy going in. In the local area there isn't too much going on - we found the dining options limited from a vegetarian/vegan perspective, and a lot of activities that were recommended were not open until summer (i.e boat trips on the lake). We would rather have stayed in Kaprun on reflection. However it was still a good stay, and it's also conveniently located for bus stops to take you to the other slopes. Would recommend for a short stay. "

"Enjoyed our stay. Lovely, large room and balcony. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. We had a car with us but found we hardly needed it as there is a bus stop and train station very close and the public transport takes you easily to most popular locations. Downside perhaps was that the hotel is on a moderately busy road so some traffic noise."
