"The stay at Couscous was absolutely spot on! Beautiful glamping resort in the quiet town of Manazuru. It has good connection links to the main station if odawara. Perfect for exploring the Hakone region of Japan. The tents were very well equipt with fans, heating, usb's. Outside there was incredible decking areas with BBQs, and a large table and chairs. The site itself was extremely clean and the toilet and shower areas were always spotless and very modern. Overall I would 100% recommend this...

"The hotel is up a steep sloping street and in a quiet area. It has a traditional feel and the cafe is really nice and the hot springs, however there is no view, unless you pay for the private baths upstairs. The whole place could use a bit of a facelift, but more of an issue was the lack of service and the quality of the food, particularly dinner. "Best part was being surrounded by nature. We love the pieces of art inside the house and the beautiful garden. I can’t get over how stunning the garden is! Very well layed out. The outdoor onsen allows one to be with nature while relaxing in the HOT spring water. "

"Nice location on the hill with views of the ocean and mountains. Nice onsen on the roof with a nice deck as well for relaxing. No elevator which was fine for us but might be an issue if you have mobility issues. Staff very friendly and accomdating."

"The stay at Couscous was absolutely spot on! Beautiful glamping resort in the quiet town of Manazuru. It has good connection links to the main station if odawara. Perfect for exploring the Hakone region of Japan. The tents were very well equipt with fans, heating, usb's. Outside there was incredible decking areas with BBQs, and a large table and chairs. The site itself was extremely clean and the toilet and shower areas were always spotless and very modern. Overall I would 100% recommend this as a place to stay for a bit of peace and quiet after touring Japan! Thank you again Couscous! ❤️蘭"
