Discovery 4 #128, Loft - Pet Friendly

Discovery 4 Unit #128 sleeps 8 people. This is a Standard 2 bedroom/loft/ 2.5 bath pet friendly condominium with a full size kitchen and separate dining area that leads out to your very own private deck.

The deck is stacked with dry, seasoned firewood for your use in the wood stove.

Bedroom Arrangement: The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, a 40 inch TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. There is a queen size bed in the second bedroom. There is a full size bathroom with a tub, a shower and a separate vanity area. The loft has a bunk bed, 2 twin beds as well as a small game table and a 32 in Roku. There is a 1/2 bath in the loft.

Unit Amenities: The full size kitchen has all the basic appliances and equipment needed for your comfort and convenience. The living room has a 55 inch wide screen TV, a DVR/HD, Blue Ray DVD, and a stereo unit with free WIFI and cable and some movie channels (check channel 40 for all listings).

Complex Amenities: In the recreation room there are coin operated laundry machines, a pool table, video games, soft drinks, a ping pong table, and a small reading area. The jacuzzi and dry sauna are open year round. The pool is heated from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. Also for your enjoyment are gas barbecues located in the pool area all year long.

What we needed

Place needed to be cleaned better. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and in crevices. Po side was also a little outdated but I didn’t expect it to be modern or anything. Other than that the place was everything we needed for a comfortable ski trip stay.

Wonderful long weekend in Mammoth!

While the property had slightly different furniture and kitchen equipment than the listing, it was still a wonderful stay in mammoth. I've stayed at a few different condos in the area, but I will definitely choose to come back to this one! The space felt very open, with the upstairs loft and back bedrooms. Dog-friendly amenities were a huge plus, and the living room and kitchen table were perfect for our group.

Spacious condo with a large loft area. Plenty of bathrooms so no one ever had to wait. Close to the slopes and to the village. Friendly staff :)

Great condo, great communication

This condo was clean, comfortable, and updated compared to some of the more rustic condos you can find in Mammoth. :) It was a 15 minute walk to Canyon and finding additional parking for guests was a breeze. Additionally, the Mammoth Reservations team managing the booking was very responsive, friendly and helpful on the phone when I had to make some confusing changes to my reservation dates.

The place is about a 10 minute walk up the hill to Canyon Lodge which was nice. Fits a decent amount of people.

Nice pet friendly condo

Nice condo, with room for everyone. Lovely fireplace with plenty of firewood. A great location too, right between twin lakes and the village, off the main road. We had a wonderful time.

This unit is a perfect stay for a group. The unit, while not fancy, is perfectly nice and worked well for our group. It felt very clean. The kitchen has everything we needed. I would stay here again!

Nice rental

I loved the location of the property it’s right across the street from the hike to twin lakes. I loved getting up in the morning and going on a run to the lakes. The inside of the condo is really nice. It’s also awesome having a half bath upstairs in the loft. I liked it so much I booked it for our next mammoth trip.

It is a great pet friendly unit. Close to the shuttle. Loved the Jacuzzi after skiing.

There was also a lovely view of the snow packed mountains from the patio. The rec room had ping pong and a pool table for a dollar. There was sauna and a jacuzzi. We did enjoy our stay.

Great stay. Confusing check in.

The accommodation and stay was great once we got in the property. Check in is confusing, it is not on the property site but at a property management office. I even messaged prior to our departure to check how to gain entry to the property and no direction was given that is was at a different address. We spent a good hour calling with little response because of the time (7pm) which was frustrating. The property was great for what we needed 2 adults, 2 teens a child and a small dog. There is a bit of a dog odor when you enter, which I guess is to be expected as it’s pet friendly. Overall good, once we managed to get in.
