"Boutique hotel right in the middle of Valletta. The location is perfect for exploring the city and is only one street away from Merchants St. The staff are excellent, especially those on breakfast duty. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was really good. Rooms also had both UK and EU sockets. Rooms had A/C, a safe and a smsll fridge. Note most rooms face into a central 'atrium' so there is very little natural light. A couple of things to make it even better...

Took the breakfast option when booked and it was certainly a good choice. Set us both up for the day ahead. Breakfast staff efficient and extremely friendly. "Hated the constant noise of sirens and traffic - much better soundproofing needed, annoying that the TV remote controlled both TVs when I only wanted one on with YouTube and not the other blaring BBC news or something- ended up unplugging the other tv to solve the issue Balcony is rather narrow and shower has no standing mat to stop you slipping The good news is that the double bed is lovely with usb ports and UK wall sockets which is excellent I like the TV size despite my whinge above...

Occasional confusion with housekeeping over towels in bathroom - change not changed, removed and not replaced (minor issue as staff quick to remedy when asked/reminded)."

"Room wasn’t ready at time of check-in but offered another room at €50 per night extra which incl Club M lounge access- kinda good, nice staff in lounge area, it was more pleasant for breakfast compared to buffet on level 2 but we had paid for breakfast with our original sea view room, so not a saving. Manager was very nice & decorated our bed plus Prosecco & cake for our anniversary, so that was extremely nice. Large hotel but staff made you feel special. Wigi’s restaurant close by is a must too"
