"This hotel was in walking distance to the town as well as visiting local attractions. If you wanted a change of scenary, you could walk to the harbour and take a ferry across to the nearest town. The hotel is situated near a beach however if that doesn't suit you, they also have a pool. Cocktail hour is between 3pm to 6pm - recommend having after visiting the local shops 😄"

"We really liked the property for its fantastic staff and rustic charm. The hotel is a 20 minute walk into the town but with a few hills. Sadly the hotel is located in the hills above a restaurant/bar that played music very loudly until 12 midnight. Currently you cannot have the AC in Italy lower than 25C or 77F by law and so the room was very warm. "Hotel Carullo is situated near the cable car in Malcesine. It is five minutes walk to the cobbled streets in the old part of the town and no more than a few more minutes to the lakeside. Lovely swimming pool and gardens to relax in. Plenty of sun loungers available. There was also a cabin selling drinks and ice creams by the pool, and there was also a gym . Staff very helpful. We had a large bedroom with a mountain view. Breakfast was good. "

"Wonderful 3 star hotel with 5 star lake views!!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and functional. Shower was very nice, good pressure and hot water. Bed and sheets very comfy. Quiet surroundings. Sat by pool and enjoyed a late afternoon spritzer while looking out at beautiful lake and mountains. Close walk to town and sights."

"This little hotel was really outstanding. Very clean, excellent service, wifi worked well. Great location overlooking the lake. Underground parking was tight but very manageable. We had to leave early on the day of departure so they even went out their way to set up some breakfast for us specifically. A bit of a walk to Malcesine itself - would recommend the bus or driving rather than walking. Bus stop is a few mins walk from the hotel and buses are frequent."

"The whole resort was first class, staff were friendly, breakfast provided was excellent. The rooms were as described with perfect daily cleaning. The garden areas were immaculate, the mix of palm trees and conifers was just right, giving a picturesque view throughout. The location was ideal for an amount of local facilities and a fair walk into the centre. Would highly recommend."
