« It is easy to see the love that was placed in this cabin. Everything you need plus things you would not even think of have been provided. But it is the location that is wonderful. You have a feeling of being totally secluded yet not isolated. They were very happy to have had the privilege to stay in this home »

Only a little further from campus than the hotel in Bangor and a whole lot less expensive and lots more space! Kitchen had what we needed to cook. We didn’t use the backyard but it looked nice and had a fire pit. Quiet area was perfect for us. »

« The cottage is well situated close to a lake and driving distance to Acadia National Park. The cottage is spacious and the two queen size bedrooms are on two different floors each with a bathroom which is quite convenient. »

« Four humans and one dog stayed at the BRH while in town for a canoe race! The house was welcoming and perfectly clean. Plenty of towels, blankets and a kitchen stocked with appliances that we cooked in. Nice neighborhood for dog walks and easy to get to grocery stores! Check in and out process was seamless and everything was accurately represented! Would certainly highly recommend!! »

« Our family of 5 had a great stay here. House is exactly as advertised and the lake is beautiful. Kids loved swimming (note you do have to navigate some boulders by the dock), playing on the kayaks and canoe, fishing, and making s’mores by the fire pit. Also loved seeing and listening to the loons (and spotted a bald eagle one afternoon). Supermarket nearby for most grocery needs and also great lobster nearby. « We absolutely loved staying at this location. We were in Bangor to see our daughter graduate from UMaine. This place was perfect for that plus it is centrally located to all the attractions and restaurants the area has to offer. Thoughtfully decorated, comfy beds and a great kitchen to boot, we felt so at home at this house.The property manager was super helpful and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend staying here. We plan to again if we need to stay in Bangor »
