"2 check in staff at front desk. One not friendly and did not greet or welcome upon arrival. Slightly off putting for initial impression. The other woman who ended up helping us was very professional and friendly. Check in was quick. Property was clean and pleasantly minimalistic. Room was clean with just the necessities. Microwave was an unexpected amenity we did not use for our one night stay, but would be an added bonus for longer stays. Hotel was in a shopping / strip mall area next to a Lowe’s. Slightly odd but once inside you do not feel you are in a shopping center. Overall affordable clean hotel, convenient location for nearby activities, family friendly. Free breakfast was a bonus! Would stay again. "

"Beautiful historic property. Our room overlooked the pool and was pretty spacious although the bathroom is a little dated. They have a very nice pool and Jacuzzi area several eating options and a generally laid-back atmosphere in a grand hotel that’s been around many years."

"After a long drive we stopped in for the night. The hotel was bustling with yong baseball teams.,I still found a great place to park, was able to order dinner at the bar, and get a good night’s sleep. Clean, spacious, and welcoming. I would stay here again."
