Relais d'Amboise - The Leading Hotels of the World

Relais d'Amboise - The Leading Hotels of the World

10/10 Excellent
"Elegant, clean, exquisite, and unbelievably beautiful-right on the Loire River and under an actual castle. The staff was incredibly attentive. Hakim was wonderful and offered ideas for favorite sights in Amboise. Valet parking. The restaurants were about a 10 minute walk. It is notable that the walk to and from the active restaurant area is very dark, unlit, at night. The ONLY issue. It was a fairy tail visit."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Luzillé?
The best time to visit Luzillé for pleasant weather and outdoor activities is during late spring, summer, and early autumn, specifically from May to September.

During May and June, the weather is generally mild and sunny, making it ideal for exploring the Loire Valley's châteaux and vineyards without the peak summer crowds. The gardens are in full bloom, and temperatures are comfortable for cycling along the riverside paths or enjoying a leisurely stroll through the countryside.

July and August offer the warmest weather, great for enjoying outdoor pursuits like canoeing on the Cher River or relaxing by a pool. This is also when many local festivals and markets take place, providing a lovely opportunity to experience local culture and produce. Families often find these months particularly good due to the warmer temperatures and the abundance of activities suitable for all ages.

September brings slightly cooler temperatures, but the weather remains agreeable, and the autumnal colours begin to emerge in the vineyards, making it a beautiful time for wine tasting and scenic drives.
