"This is a super charming small hotel (10 rooms) in a quiet area of Amboise yet still just a few blocks from the Palace and other great sites. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Jean Jacques the owner greeted us at check in with an employee named Angel. He recently purchased the hotel and Angel joined his team this week. He obviously cares deeply about the place and makes sure you have everything you need. When he is not there Angel was terrific. She also cared about everything that happens at the hotel. I would give this place the highest rating on any scale. The only place to stay in Amboise. "

"Well located in Amboise. We stayed for 3 nights while visiting the Loire. We had a studio so didn’t take the breakfast option. Parking is paid per day. On arrival it took us a little time to locate the road - it’s quite a narrow 1 way street, though that’s not unusual in Amboise! So best to check your route before arrival. We always found a parking space when arriving but it was not peak season - I suspect it might be trickier in high season when the place is full. Plenty of Restaraunts within easy walking. The studio apartment has a basic kitchen - microwave, fridge, kettle and sink - so adequate for organising breakfast. So in summary, good location, adequate parking (though might be tricky in peak season) and the studio apartments are comfortable if somewhat basic."

"The staff was wonderful, gave us one free breakfast because our room was not cleaned. You can park near the entrance to unload your luggage but then move it to their parking area, a short walk away. There is no elevator/lift, could be an issue. Not accessible to all. Yes their breakfast is rather expensive but there are no available restaurants that are close."
