"The views from the camp were amazing, the rustic camping experience with all the amenities and total cleanliness. This location provided the solitude of being in a remote mountain camp, but also was in close proximity to the racing events we were attending. Our host was a Godsend so helpful and kind "

This western-themed town hosts rodeos and horseback riding events that draw cowboys from across the region. Grab a bite at the local diners before browsing the charming Main Street shops for authentic western gear.
Very historic and well-maintained. Carriage House was nicely appointed with a large master bedroom/sitting room and an extra bedroom upstairs with an en-suite bath. Innkeeper was personable and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, biscuits, quiche, bacon, etc. Would definitely recommend this B & B

The check in was easy, the lady at the desk was pleasant. The room looked clean, the bedding as well. The room looked very nice and spacious. But sitting on the bed I noticed the dust on the lamp bases. When my partner was in the bath he noticed a dried up lump of dog poop behind the toilet. This would mean they didn’t sweep, mop or wipe behind the toilet when cleaning. Yuck!

Decent place to stay, not fancy but reasonable price. Close to the interstate. Room was clean and comfortable. At least they don't pretend to offer a breakfast, which in some places has evolved into a coffee and pastry.

We stay here every year on our way to and from to Florida. The staff is always friendly and accommodating with any requests. The location is very convenient as it is right off the interstate and there is a gas station right before the hotel and restaurant are across the road.
We were recommend The Twisted Oak Bar and Grill on Centre Street in Statesville, about a 5 minute drive from the hotel, really good Southern food.
