"We had never been to Mount Washington and staying at Sunset Lodge didn't disappoint! In fact, it was exactly what we needed. The building alone is in a semi-private location, very few people around and we needed the downtime. When we walked into Sunset Lodge we were very impressed. The overall cleanliness, higher end quality of the build and everything we needed was right there. It was apparent there was a lot of thought going into creating such a space. We slept well during our stay and it was a rare opportunity that we would get to lay in bed and look at the stars. A lovely bonus. If you're looking for a fabulous get-away, don't delay, book at Sunset Lodge."

"Great location, nicely designed/decorated rooms, nice view facing the straits, fantastic breakfast included with great selection (including self-service waffles, hot fried eggs with/without cheese, sausages, bread/bagels/cereals, different juices, coffee, yogurt/fruits) and also prompt service from the kitchen hostess, very efficient, helpful and polite staff and a nice restaurant next door called Fifty Parallel Tap and Grill (food was good at reasonable pricing). We did not use the indoor pool or other amenities due to our hectic travel schedule."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would come back in a heartbeat! The place was spotless, everything felt brand new, and it truly felt like a home away from home from the moment we arrived.The location was incredible. On our very first night, we were lucky enough to see killer whales right from the beach! We also caught salmon from the beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise over the water such special memories from our family trip.What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. After checking out, I realized I had accidentally left my wedding ring behind. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and were able to remotely give us access so we could go back and retrieve it. We were so grateful for how quickly and kindly they helped us.Between the beautiful location, immaculate and comfortable space, and exceptional hosts, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Saratoga Beach was one of the highlights of our Vancouver Island trip, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"
