The parking lot is to small. Anyone who has a mini SUV, the parking is not convenient. The staff was very friendly. The room wasn't spectacular but it was clean.

We stayed 2 nights here for our Universal Studios trip. Alex, night front desk manager, checked us in. He was so helpful. Parking was tight and first come first serve basis. Breakfast was ok, can’t complain because it’s free. But the best part was it’s walking distance to the shuttle for the park. Will stay here again.

Although the staff was kind and helpful, the building and furnishings need some upgrading. The motel is close to Universal, but in a sketchy neighborhood . The parking is free, but the spaces are very tight. I couldn’t get into my vehicle at one point. Our room was very small.

My rating is based on price location. This property is a great value when you consider both of those factors. It’s in close proximity to Universal Studios and Downtown LA. I’ve stayed here twice, several years apart and the price was by far the lowest in the area. It’s a short walk to a large public transportation hub and a free 10 minute shuttle ride to Universal. Room size is generous for the area and stays pretty quiet. Bed is fine. I bring my own pillow. Towels are thin. Our room this time could use, and has space for one more mirror. Nicer hotels in the area cost significantly more. I’ll stay here again. The little donut shop, K’s Donut Emporium, around the corner is a huge plus in the morning.

This is definitely an older property with very limited breakfast options, but for the price it was just fine. It is also approximately 1/4 mile from the Universal Studios shuttle bus stop.
