Luxury 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom condo in front of Yachts club and almost 1000sq. Ft.

Spacious and comfortable rooms, not only have incredible scenery, but also modern facilities to meet all your travel need, just like returning to another home! All you need is to sit in front of window, deep breath and enjoy the beauty of nature and forget about the time!
There are 3 heated pools, indoor jacuzzi, steam rooms, dry saunas, massages, a salon, Large GYM with free weights machines and also many tennis courts around for the lovers and kids too. There are convenient cafe shop and big classic restaurant with full bar and gorgeous view!

Walking distance to Venice pier and beach, free bus to Santa Monica beach and local grocery store. A perfect location and easy to abbot Kinney Art street, fisherman village, Venice canal, ocean front broad walk and all kind of international food around this beautiful and safety area!

By LA high way system, easy to reach Hollywood,Beverly Hills, Malibu, universe studies, Disney land, Chinese theatre, Westfield shopping mall and UCLA,USC,LMU and etc.

Don’t forget we have big California KING SIZE BED in front of your window that next to yachts club with marina views! There is one single folding bed, in case more guests.

C- property in A+ location

This could be an outstanding vacation rental if the owner made a little investment in the property. It is very cluttered and gives the impression of not being very clean. The air conditioning does not seem to work and the temperature in the shower cannot be adjusted. I made mention of these issues to the owner in a note I left on departure. I would look for another place to stay on future visits and would only recommend this rental for its location with hesitation.

Million Dollar View and Spacious and Clean

We drove up from San Diego and liked the restaurants that were walking distance. Nice to have secure parking and the boats in the marina and kayakers were enjoyable. The king sized bed was very comfortable and I did not notice any strong petrochemicals. Thank you :) Maggie

Amazing View, Location and Host!

I came with my parents for the weekend before a work meeting and Helen impressed all of us with her responsiveness. She was easily accessible and super kind. Also provided us with suggestions of places to go in the area. The parking spot she has was convenient to the elevators and everyone around the area was super friendly. My mom and I enjoyed morning walks around the marina looking at all the boats. Additionally, the laundry room was nice for us considering I could pack clothes to wash and then wear the following week so I didn’t overpack like normal :)

A Couple Major Issues

The location is great. Loved my time in the city. Unfortunately, there are two major issues with this rental. First, if you are looking to sleep in, this is NOT the rental for you. The master bedroom has two sides that have floor to ceiling windows. The blinds and curtains DO NOT block out any of the light. I had issues sleeping here. Second, I suspect the owner had cats or some pets in this rental. Every time I sat on the couches, my allergies flared. My nose closed up within 3 mins and I couldn't breathe. I sat on the couches a grand total of 10 mins during my stay because of this issue. I suggest that those couches are burned or cleaned thoroughly. Those are my qualms with this rental. Otherwise, it is a great location.

Traum Condo

Der Blick auf die Marina ist ein Traum, Tag und Nacht. Eine komplette Ausstattung macht das Condo zu einem zu Hause. Helen hat sehr viel Geduld, Verständnis und reagiert sehr schnell. Die Community ist toll, alle Doormen sind sehr aktiv und freundlich. Das Doppelbett ist super, sehr viele TV Portale bereiten Filmfans viel Freude. the property owner is attempting to charge us for a cracked outlet that was broken before we got there. she also wanted cash from us to check in early even though the property was empty. the property was also junky, with the balcony clearly being used to store random junk (full sized plastic skeleton with a hat, empty flower pots, random jugs of water that I assume were for the plants) it was not well maintained. the window in the kitchen was broken and held together with packing tape, there were patches on the walls where paint had been touched up, with a color that didn't match, the "bathmats" were actually egg crate packing materials. It was not very clean. It had a beautiful view, but in the end i felt taken advantage of. we are contesting the damage charge.

We booked our accommodations close to our travel date. Communication with the host was prompt. The apartment was spacious and had a wonderful view of the marina. The king sized bed was very comfortable. We were walking distance to Venice beach, many restaurants, free public transit and a grocery store. The apartment also had a balcony which faced the marina and was a great place to relax after a busy day. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked to make coffee or tea and to prepare light meals. The previous reviews were accurate in that the space was cluttered. The blinds that were meant to block out the sun did little to block out the light at night. The sofa and love seat were stained and looked a little tired. Shampoo, soap, dish soap and hand sanitizer were provided, but the bathroom lacked face cloths and toilet paper. I am inclined to agree with the previous guest that toilet paper is a necessity…even the public bathrooms on the beach supply it. I had hoped that the host had addressed this complaint. I had requested either an earlier check in or a place to leave our luggage for 1 -2 hours and was charged an extra $20.00 cash. Make note that there is also a $50. charge for access to the facilities which we did not use and were not even sure they were available to use.

Great area

We were excited about using the amenities but unfortunately they were not available due to covid even though the listing stated that they were. Aside from that amazing location and easy communication. Apartment could definitely use an updating but was clean. Also it's listed as a one-bedroom but the bedroom is separated by a curtain which did not provide the privacy we were looking for.

Overall good, but room for improvement

Arrival went well. We got a tour of the building & amenities. Really appreciated help finding things. Loved having the snack place downstairs, very convenient. Kids enjoyed the pool. Felt safe inside the gates. Rooms were clean, plenty of towels/beach towels/linens/pillows, had foldout chairs for use at the beach. Kids loved the TV, could stream a lot of different providers, wifi was fast enough for what we needed. Helen responded quickly to all my questions. Why 3 stars? - Some kitchen items are provided: small skillets, pans, bowls, silverware. But no pans/sheets for baking, no measuring cups. Simple cooking will work but no baking / no large meals / no leftovers. Unpacking, lots of closet space & hangers, nice. In bedroom only one drawer, but worked ok for me. Says sleeps 4, only option for a 3rd/4th is a fold out cushion on the floor or the couch. The couch is not a sofa bed so not a sleeping option. No privacy for the bedroom, no door, only curtain. IMO this sleeps 2 adults sharing the bed or 2 adults sharing the bed with no expectation of privacy with 2 children willing to sleep on the floor. - Very hot during the day, 90+ outside 80+ in the room. Not sure how it works but the HOA decides when you can use the AC. So please look into your dates, the forecast, and the HOA's rules about the AC. This wasn't as much a problem at night, windows open and there's a good cross-breeze. But is miserable when trying to get ready after the sun comes up. It affected our plans as we had intended to spend the hottest part of the day in the room. - Essentials: We ran out of toilet paper. Started with a half-roll, found another half-roll in the bathroom. When I asked where to find more, I was told I had to purchase "extra". I understand not supplying consumables, i.e. shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. But to me TP is an essential and should be provided. - The cleaning fee is an expected expense. I was aware of the cost, so this is not about the amount. At the end of our stay, we were asked to take out the trash. Since I paid a cleaning fee, to me that falls under the cleaning category. Not sure if that's standard or not, but IMO the cleaning fee covers trash.

Location Location and the view!!

We had a fabulous time at Helen’s condo in Marina Del Rey. It was furnished in a lovely and comfortable way that made relaxing easy to do there. The view of the marina is unbelievably beautiful. There is a lovely balcony with chairs and plants that is perfect for coffee, drinks or a light meal! Helen was very available and replied promptly to texts with answers to any questions we had! Definitely would go back!!

Great Location & View

Beautiful condo right on the Marina with gorgeous views from the balcony & full length bedroom windows. Very safe & clean area…& restaurants & grocery store within walking distance. Very good restaurant/store on street level in the building. Helen was wonderful….met us at the condo & explained everything. Always replied immediately when we had questions. Only 25 minutes to the airport & 30 minutes to SOFI stadium. Hope to return soon!

Cosy Condo with a View

Our stay at Helen's condo couldn't have been nicer. Helen was always cheery, responsive and did her best to ensure our stay was delightful. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the Marina, and our afternoon walks along the Quay. Marvelous sunrises greet you most mornings. A lovely, comfortable stay. We would definitely return to in the future. Thanks Helen!

Nice views

The property was nice with a beautiful view and Helen was nice to work with. The location was nice, secured parking, walk to elevator/apartment is close to parking, quiet and you felt safe. It does get warm with the sun but there is a nice cross breeze between the doors. The kitchen did leave something to be desired. If you are planning on using the fridge, microwave and coffeemaker or rice cooker (there are a several) then you will be fine. I made simple meals and had to buy a disposable baking pan and measuring cups. A lot of the essentials were not well stocked (paper towels, dish detergent, trash bags, no ice cube trays). Helen was nice enough to let us bring our toddler but the house needed to have a lot of glass items moved in order to be baby proofed so beware with young children. There are a lot more than in the pictures on the listing. I also like to unpack when I’m there for multiple days and most of the drawers and closet space was used for their extra stuff. While I do appreciate the extra blankets, a lot of it seemed like old stuff that could have been stored off sight. It felt more like I was utilizing someone’s house rather than a rental with the amount of decorations and items in the cabinets and I was worried I would forget stuff because of the clutter.
