"I would avoid staying here if possible. The interior feels dated, and the common areas are poorly maintained. The elevator doors were dirty, and the ice machine on the third floor was out of order. Although my room had been updated and was fine, I received no housekeeping service during my three-night stay. The complimentary breakfast was very poor. The day after I checked out, I discovered I had been overcharged by $150. I contacted the property right away but still have not received a response or a copy of my final bill. Six days later, only $100 has been refunded, and I still do not know what the remaining $50 charge was for. To avoid the hassle, I recommend staying somewhere else in Myrtle Beach."

"Resort was very clean, the room was nice, and the staff was friendly! We had an ocean view balcony which was our favorite spot to relax at. The kids were a bit unruly at the pool so we mainly stayed at the beach, which the resort has easy and quick access to with rentable (but pricey) beach chairs from the city. Location was perfect from the ocean and everything you need is within a 20 minute drive. There’s also a Main Street with great pizza and ice cream shops only a 10 minute walk away which we visited often. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay!"

"Everything was okay. We had a puppy with us which made it challenging because we were put on the 18th floor and at busy times people moving in and out the elevator would stop numerous times going down and most of the time no one could get on because it was full. The dog park next door was nice but it would be better if lazy people would clean up after there dog. Elevator doors were wet most of the time because no one can read the signs to dry off when leaving the pool areas. If you get up early before 8 am there is no coffee available in the hotel except the restaurant . I walked two blocks to a Starbucks to get coffee in the morning. Overall the staff was pretty friendly and everything was okay."

"For the last couple of years, my family and I have made this resort part of our annual vacation tradition, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I’m not sure if it was just an off week or if the issues were related to being on the 26th floor (which felt way too high), but our experience was far from what we’ve come to expect. The AC went out on our first day and then again on our last night before leaving. What made matters worse was that the supervisor working the night the AC first went out was not helpful and apparently never informed the manager of the issue, forcing us to explain everything again the next day. The manager was the only person who seemed genuinely concerned and helpful. She addressed our concerns and compensated us for some of the inconvenience, which we appreciated. In addition to the AC issues, the food-ordering website was down, the Wi-Fi repeatedly cut out, and the family hot tub was closed during part of our stay. Unfortunately, the number of problems we experienced made it difficult to enjoy our vacation. Based on this trip alone, I would not recommend this resort. It’s especially disappointing because we’ve loved coming here every year and have always looked forward to our stay. Hopefully, these issues are addressed, but if you do stay here, I would strongly suggest avoiding the Oceanview 26th floor."
