There is a Tesco Express less than a 5-minute walk away and a nice cafe for coffees. Only a 10-minute walk to Oxford Circus. The apartment is let down by quite shabby furniture, in fact the sofa-bed was all but unusable. Also the lift is out of order as was the wifi when we stayed. Footstep noise from the apartment above is also quite loud. It was close to the subway and it was walkable. I didn't like that the elevator doesn't work, and apparently it won't be fixed. So it's impossible to be there if you're a person with mobility disabilities. The unit was located in a really great spot, a close walk to many major sightseeing spots. There were a few downsides. The pullout sofa bed was awful, bent in the middle, creaky, and uncomfortable. The unit was advertised as having a washer and dryer, but only had a washer… our clothes are current hanging out to dry at our next hotel. The lock on the bathroom window was broken and we couldn’t lock it (safety concern). The furniture was worn and peeling.
