"The hotel is a bit dated. The air conditioner in the room rattled all night making for a very broken sleep. Also paid extra for a harbour that was barely a view - a four and half foot concrete wall blocked what little view there was, and the "balcony" was a giant patio shared by multiple other guests that continually walk by. Will not be staying here in future."

"The hotel room was nice but the wifi was very spotty. Alot of the time it didn't work. The bath dispensers were horrible. You could hardly get anything out. We only at breakfast in the restaurant and they got 3 of 4 orders wrong. I rarely saw anyone eat dinner there. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. The hotel is in a great location. All major attractions are in walking distance"

"I stayed here for one night while attending a conference. The lobby and room looked recently updated and were very clean. The smart TV worked great. We were a bit uneasy about having a room with and outside door, but the woman at the front desk was very reassuring and she was right, we had no issues and it was a very quiet night. I didn’t see any issues on the property or in the area like what other reviewers mentioned."

"When we first arrived (one hour before check-in at 4:00), the staff were unorganized, unhelpful and did not appear at all concerned about the guests. The staff consisted of students with very poor customer service skills. At 4:00, a more welcoming student arrived and got us checked in. Excellent apartment with four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living area with kitchenette. No AC, but fans were provided. Very clean and comfortable, quiet in the evening. About 10 minutes from downtown Halifax."

"Place was spotless; front desk staff were both friendly and efficient. Room was well supplied. Only surprise was the old fashioned light switches in the bathroom. A Staff member was sitting outside the front door smoking as we left, which we could smell as we exited the building (yuck). I’d suggest that changes. (He looked like a cook, as he was wearing a white jacket/top)"
