Paradise Valley during all four seasons is truly a dream-come-true for photographers (hobbyists & professionals), nature lovers, wildlife watchers, artists, writers and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Yellowstone National Park’s north entrance in Gardiner, MT is a GORGEOUS 40-minute scenic drive that follows the famed Yellowstone River and is the ONLY entrance that is open year-round into Yellowstone’s Northern Range where you can drive your own vehicle from Mammoth Hot Springs to Cooke City, MT during the winter months.
Whitewater rafting, scenic river floats, fly fishing, hiking, private Yellowstone Park tours, hot spring soaking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, winter wildlife viewing, and downhill skiing are some of the fun activities that are offered in this area. The town of Livingston is a 25-minute drive and offers many restaurants, shopping, museum, grocery stores, bars, gas stations, post office, hospital, pharmacy, park and more. There is a small grocery store and gas station in Emigrant, which is a 15-minute drive. The Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport is a beautiful 60-minute drive…unless you stop to take photos along the way (which we’re sure you’ll want to do)!

The home was absolutely gorgeous. The setting was perfect, with the mountains close by for viewing the the morning. Everything was perfect, from check-in to departure. Thank you!
House was very nice, just what we needed and better than expected. Great location. Host went over and above with our every need, and were readily available at all times. I will definitely stay again. Views are spectacular. Close to Yellowstone and Livingston. Wildlife was everywhere. We had an amazing time.
The size, location, cleanliness and amenities at Summer and Winter Paradise were just what my friends and I needed for such a lovely visit. The porch, views and quiet surroundings added to the fun and friendship we enjoyed. Thank you Jean and Mark!
We had a lovely girls trip. Perfect location nestled under the mountains halfway between Bozeman and Yellowstone! We loved our stay and would love to come back.
My family had a wonderful stay in Paradise Valley! The home was clean and perfect for our stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property!
We had a wonderful stay. The property is clean and well maintained. The hosts are friendly, helpful and accommodating. We willing definitely use again.
We enjoyed our stay in Pray. House was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Jean was very kind and met us when we arrived and explained what we needed to know. Thanks for the great welcome and the Huckleberry and Blueberry were an adorable addition!
We were there 5 days it was very comfortable and location great, beautiful Mountain View’s.
Hosts Were great. We had 6 in our group and
House very accommodating.
This property is everything it is advertised to be. The place was clean and well stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, etc. Everything you would need for an enjoyable stay was provided and everything worked well. The host responded quickly to any questions we had and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again if I revisited this area.
We enjoyed our time in Paradise Valley! The house was perfect for our family. The views were beautiful. The host was great.
Beautiful drive to Yellowstone National Park. We hope to be back someday!
Jean and Mark are wonderful hosts, and their home is absolutely perfect! Clean, comfortable and with every amenity you could need. Conveniently located, making it an easy trip from Bozeman, and just a short (and amazingly beautiful) drive to Yellowstone's north entrance. We will most certainly be back!
We stayed on the property for one week with our family of 6. The property was a beautiful hour drive to Yellowstone. We were far enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the land but just 20-ish minutes away from town. The house itself was beautiful! The owners were absolutely lovely and easy to get in touch with. We appreciated all the information on hikes/things to do/places to eat. Cannot say enough nice things about the owners or the property. We would love to come back.
Jean and Mark's house was very very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had all the conveniences of home and the view from the back deck was simply spectacular. Jean helped us plan our stay by offering suggestions for photography and hikes we would not have discovered on our own. In particular, she told us about a great spot to observe Grizzles fattening themselves in preparation for winter. We highly recommend this house and Jean and Mark as hosts.
Located in Paradise Valley the house was in a nicely secluded area within reasonable distance to Yellowstone National Park, hot springs, trailheads, fishing & some good restaurants. The town of Livingston was only 15 minutes down the road for shopping & supplies. The mountain ranges are a spectacular view which we would sit on the rear deck & enjoy each evening. The house was ideal for our crew of adults & was quite spacious, neat & clean. We had a chance to talk to Jean & Mark the owners who were friendly & accommodating. I would book this Vrbo in a heartbeat again if I was to return to Montana.

My husband and I booked their lovely place for us and our parents for our week trip to Yellowstone. Upon arrival Jean came over and introduced herself and was so helpful even lending us coolers to use for the week! Their home is situated in such a peaceful area with gorgeous panoramic views! We were able to sit out on the deck and watch mule deer and their babies frolic. Mark was very knowledgeable about the areas and very helpful on recommendations for hikes and sites to see. We really enjoyed getting to meet these two, they are just as kind as could be! The home has so much helpful info and books for your many adventures, and anything else you could possibly need. We hated to leave! Thanks again for having us Georgians!!
The only gripe I have about our stay was that we didn't stay longer. First, the location is perfect. We were and hour from Bozeman airport, 20 minutes from Livingston for groceries and shopping, and about an hour from the north Yellowstone gate.
The home is spacious, well-stocked, and quiet - perfect for our family of 4. The little touches were what I enjoyed the most. The plush towels (most VRBOs have cheap, scratchy towels). The welcome note. The nice knives (my wife LOVED those). The stack of brochures for Yellowstone and more.
It added up to the perfect getaway adventure to enjoy the mountains. I only wish we had more time!
We had the absolute best time! Mark and Jean are amazing hosts. We came from Florida for 10 days and stayed the first leg of our trip here. I honestly did not want to leave. There is so much to do right here. The home was comfortable even though it is very warm there right now. We kept the shades down on the windows during the day and the a/c units and fans were fine. We were on the road for much of the time, but the house was roomy and has everything you need, great coffee maker with kcup option, pans, plastic ware for storage, etc. Mark gave us many great ideas for dining and sight seeing. It’s about 50 minutes to Gardiner which is the north entrance of Yellowstone. We used this for the north and northeast sides of the park. We went back to Livingston twice, loved it there. I would absolutely return and stay longer next time.
From the moment we walked thru the door, we felt ourselves relaxing. The house was bigger than what we really needed for the two of us. We ended up being able to spread out our stuff and do some laundry after driving for a few days. The house is extremely clean and well appointed with small touches to make us feel at home. Beautiful bedrooms, comfy sitting rooms, fluffy bath towels, and a kitchen that had everything we needed for our four night stay. Even games and books to keep us busy on our down day. And the views! Don’t forget your binoculars as we saw a herd of elk wandering over the ridge. The mule deer came by each morning and evening to feed nearby, so did some birds. (Quail maybe?) The owners live on the property so if we needed anything, the response was quick while giving us our privacy. Close by to Yellowstone National Park or wandering thru old downtown Bozeman or Livingston. So much to do in the area and it was nice to be in the middle of all of it!
We loved staying at this house. Mark and Jean were great hosts and responded promptly to questions. We enjoyed meeting them and also the goats and dog! The house has amazing views of the mountains and it was nice and quiet on the property. The house was large enough for everyone to be able to spread out and have their own space.
We were there while it was very hot outside. The house doesn’t have central a/c, but did have two portable a/c’s. They were enough to keep the house comfortable and if you liked it a little cooler at night, there were fans to help move the air a little more. We didn’t cook a lot at the house, but the house had everything you need in the kitchen. There is a grill outside and we grilled dinner a couple nights. We usually packed picnic lunches to take with us into Yellowstone each day. We brought our own cooler, but I did notice one in a closet if you didn’t bring your own.
We made a grocery run to Livingston one time and when we needed to resupply water or sandwich items, we usually stopped at the small Grocery store in Gardiner.
We explored Yellowstone every day during our stay here. I will point out it is a fairly long ride from the property to Gardiner/Yellowstone. I think it was about 40-45 minutes. But we felt the positives of the property far outweighed the extra driving to get to the park.
We would definitely stay here again.
Plenty of space and all the amenities we required.Great view from the back deck. Nothing kicks off a day better than hanging out with a cup of coffee watching deer pronk through the fields.
Had a wonderful time in the Paradise Valley. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were readily available to answer questions. We all would highly recommend this rental.
