"Courteous staff, very clean and well-appointed room with coffee maker, refrigerator, and plenty of towels, pet-friendly, and very comfortable beds. It’s in a convenient area with plentiful parking and close to dining, shopping, and downtown Ann Arbor. "

"Kensington Hotel on State Street at Ann Arbor is a very pleasant place to stay. The facility is clean, quiet, and convenient. It is relatively small, but offers all the upscale amenities you would like to enjoy. I wish we had time to stay longer so that we could use the indoor swimming pool, the lively backyard, the sauna, and the gym, etc. Their workers were all friendly. William at the front desk was particularly awesome. We arrived quite late that evening. He did not only offered the three adults of us a glass of champagne, but also offered to prolong the open time of the pool if our children would like to swim before going to bed. We have a saying in Chinese, 賓至如歸，meaning “the guests arrive as if they are at home.” William made us feel at home indeed."

"Great all the way around. A little dated & accessing 2nd & higher floors (especiallynwith luggage cart) is rather difficult. We stay here often because of the great customer service, convenient & quiet location & comfortable beds."

"Overall it’s a okay place for a quick stay. They gave us a singular flat pillow for the two of us staying and then when we asked for another pillow they tried to say they didn’t have any and when we were like really one pillow for the big bed? They magically had another pillow. At first we were unsure how the tv would even work we had to have the guy come up to switch the channels to get the remote to work (we thought the batteries were dead) however the only input that worked had about 4 channels and the tv volume was stuck on max volume and most of the controls would not work. I didn’t see any amenities like a pool or work out room. Very quick check in and check out process though! "

"A very good, low cost option located 2.6 miles from Michigan Stadium and right off of I-94 which leads to the Detroit airport. Needed light dusting on a couple of surfaces, which I don't mind doing myself at the price point. Staff was easy to talk to, and the deposit was low. Easy check-in. I recommend."
