"The location for one can't be beat. Right on the river with eagles and herons flying in for their breakfast fishing. The restaurant offers German cuisine and the food is excellent. We had room nr 7 upstairs, King bed, which was very spacious, quaint, well appointed and had a great view. Loved our stay there."

"Property is set on a private cove. Quiet, serene location. Marv was great. Kitchen is well supplied with dishes and pans. Full size fridge, stove, washer and dryer were all pluses. Little more than an hour away from Peggy's Cove. An hour from Halifax. Beautiful beaches near by and lovely coastal drives. Several picturesque picnic areas at nearby lake parks with hiking trails as well."
