We had the best time here. The hosts, Shanna and Kenny were great, super responsive and very helpful with planning things to do. Ernesto, one of the drivers was also fantastic and super helpful. The locals and neighbors around the house were very friendly. A grocery store was located near by and we were able to get most of what we needed to make our meals. Dee has a small bar next door and a small shop where you can get some basics. Dee was so friendly. A Howler Monkey troop came right onto the property one of the days and they were fun to watch. Another Howler Monkey troop spends most of its time across the street at Lloyd’s. Lloyd was happy to allow us on his property to check them out. The accommodations were great. There was a washer and dryer on site that worked well. We did not want to leave and we will definitely be back!

Mariposa Jungle Lodge is the perfect place for a special occasion or weekend getaway. The staff is super hospitable and are very willing to answer any questions and accomodate any requests that you have. The food is top notch and the grounds are very well kept. I would highly recommend Mariposa for a 10/10 experience.

This property is beautiful and the staff was excellent with communication and assistance. The morning breakfast was delicious. We weren’t able to enjoy the beach due to the sargassum but it was fine we were able to enjoy the pool. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Definitely a great stay for relaxing.
