« I had a wonderful stay at the Grasse River Getaway. The setting was quiet and peaceful—exactly what I needed to unplug and recharge. « This stay was a homecoming for me, since my parents had lived right on the St. Lawrence, and nearly the entirety of my late mom's family still live nearby. The area is largely agricultural, with many dairy farms and green pastures. It is a truly beautiful part of NY State and we were very much looking forward to getting back there to visit. We were not disappointed. The property is very nice -- extremely clean and well maintained, with a GREAT bed! The property owner, Ali,is extremely pleasant...

An unpredictable variant, it was hot during our visit and the lovely house doesn't have AC. There are fans in the rooms that help to keep the air moving. Interior is nicely decorated in keeping with the waterfront, Adirondack theme. House was extremely clean. Owners thought of everything to make my stay easier and more comfortable.
