"Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war schön ruhig und wir konnten uns gut entspannen. Es war alles nötige vorhanden und auch schon sauber. Sehr empfehlenswert Der Boden ist für Hunde sehr unangenehm. Hunde rutschen schnell aus und haben keinen Halt. Außerdem ist der Boden recht laut. Laboe bräuchte ganz ehrlich auch mal ein "Facelift". "We spent one night in this property while driving around Germany. It is an older property and good for someone traveling. I can't praise the manager enough; he checked us in, helped us get to our room and helped us with parking. We parked in the employee parking because the rest of the hotel's parking was already taken, but the manager made sure that there were no problems. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, bar or fitness area. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the train station, shopping, and nightlife. We were fortunate to have a nice view of the harbor."

"Check in was easy and fast. The desk staff were very nice and helpful. There was a bad smell in the main hallway down to the room elevators, I’m not sure what caused that but it was pretty bad. Our room was pretty clean. The breakfast is expensive but there’s quite a selection. There needs to be more than just one coffee machine, however. The parking garage is a nightmare! Tiny spaces, tight corners, and you had to go through two doors to get to the elevator. Those doors should be changed to automatic opening doors."

"Wir waren zu fünft mit unserem Hund hier und waren rundum begeistert. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich außergewöhnlich – es fehlt einfach an nichts! Das gesamte Haus ist wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail maritim eingerichtet.Die Küche ist weit über den Standard hinaus ausgestattet: Eierkocher, Back- und Auflaufformen und vieles mehr sind vorhanden. Besonders toll fanden wir auch die kleine Vorratskammer mit Dingen, die man vielleicht einmal vergessen hat. Für Familien gibt es Fahrräder, Spiele und sogar Sandspielzeug.Die Terrasse mit direktem Meerblick und die Dachterrasse sind traumhaft. Auch die Whirlpool-Badewanne und die Sauna haben wir sehr genossen.Die Lage ist perfekt: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Hafenpromenade sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Durch die nahegelegene Schnellstraße erreicht man außerdem schnell viele schöne Ausflugsziele.Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war von Anfang an super. Sie ist sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hat immer schnell auf unsere Fragen geantwortet.Wir können das Ferienhaus absolut weiterempfehlen und würden selbst sehr gerne wiederkommen. Wir haben uns mit der ganzen Familie und unserem Hund sehr wohlgefühlt und eine wunderschöne Zeit gehabt.Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt und die herzliche Kommunikation! "

"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."
