Floor for 4-6 persons. The idyllic Baltic Sea resort Laboe (about 5500 inhabitants) is picturesque at the exit of the Kiel Fjord on the eastern bank. The former fishing village has developed into a popular holiday resort and seaside resort. Laboe is an ancient place and was mentioned for the first time in 1240\. The name Laboe derives from the Slavic "Lubodne", which means "Schwanenort". And even today, the Swan is Labo's beast. The long, fine sandy beach falls very flat to the fjord, so it is especially recommended for families with small children. Directly on the beach promenade is the adventure pool. With the Kiel Fjord, one of the most frequented waterways in the world, in front of the doorstep, the "Strandleben" offers a special attraction also for "Sehleute", which can observe the ships passing by extensively. The panorama of Laboe is surmounted by the world-famous 85 m high naval monument. In this memorial is reminded of the fates of all the people who remained at sea and is to commemorate a peaceful sea voyage on the open seas. From above, the visitor has a wonderful view over the fjord and the Baltic Sea. At the foot of the memorial has been the submarine U 995 for several years as a technical museum. The Kinofilm "Das Boot" plays on a submarine, which belongs as well as U 995 of the famous class VII C. A visit to U995 provides an impressive insight into the indescribable narrowness of the submarine men. The Kiel Fjord is known as the Kielmekka ("Kieler Woche"). In the immediate vicinity lie the Danish islands Langeland and Aero, the so-called "Danish South Sea". Diese Wohnung ist sehr eng, offene Schlafgalerie war uns vorab nicht bewusst. Couch und Sessel sollten dringend erneuert werden, hatten zum teil kaputte Beine und waren fleckig, in die Dusche musste man klettern. ##### Brigitte H. Nach 1 Stunde schon das 1\. x bei der Vermittlungsstelle gewesen. Das man die Wohnung nicht renovieren kann und die ganzen Möbel austauschen kann während diese vermietet ist, ok, aber den ganzen Dreck hätte man entfernen können. Habe 2 E-Mails geschickt mit Bildern und Erläuterungen über den Katastrophalen zustand des Objektes. Leider kann man hier keine Fotos einfügen. Objekt ist einfach zum Fremdschämen. ##### Britta K. Treppe ist sehr steil, nicht besonders gut geeignet um kleinere Kinder im oberen Zimmer unterzubringen.
