"We were pleasantly surprised at the 5 star service at this hotel. The price point was very reasonable. The facilities and room were very clean. The breakfast buffet was included and was fresh and tasty with multiple options - eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, muffins, etc and a variety of juices plus coffee. The staff was super accommodating and very friendly. "

"Wonderful location on the beach, this hotel was built in 1953, and once owned by Leona Helmsley. It is definitely dated and well-worn, but convenient and clean. It was like a vacation trip back in time. The attached restaurant is excellent--great food and service, and the prices are reasonable. Apparently, the entire resort is slated for destruction soon, and will be replaced by a high-rise resort."

"Our stay at Compass was great! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a step above the usual fare with sweet offerings in the afternoon. 2 restaurants on the property for delicious choices if not venturing out. A beautiful pool area. A room on the marina side is a must for seeing the boat’s navigate in and out all day. The only downside of the property is the odor of the marina that wafts in and out on some days. "
