Minuses are maintenance issues such as very heavy and broken/stuck sliding door to the screened in porch that overlooks the dunes/bay. Guests have to be very strong to wrestle the broken door open far enough shimmy though to access porch. Had to call for help and second code did not work. Had to use lock box key. The master bath shower hand held sprayer leaked. Tried to keep it from dripping but could not. There was no carafe for the coffee maker was found. Used the French press. The screen on the porch had several holes and flies and gnats got in. Also one of outside steps was loose. This is more a county/state problem. The beach had dead hermit crabs which drew flies on the beach. Talking to others on the beach we found out this time of year there is little beach maintenance done. This makes it difficult to stay out there more than an hour and we had to keep moving to avoid them. This made the beach experience unsatisfying. We loved every minute of our stay here. So fun and funky and the location right on the beach was amazing! The place is a great combination of fun & eclectic and to every modern convenience. New and well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We LOVED the screened in porch where we spent most of our time! The walk to town was about a 20 minute easy walk, or a 5 minute drive.
