You cannot beat the location of this hotel. Close enough walk to the main Rehoboth strip but far enough away that the beach is more secluded and the beach itself is well maintained. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. This was our first stay, but we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The location is what makes the hotel, and the parking garage is an added bonus. You are right on the beach/boardwalk, and a parking pass is included with your stay. There’s also a fancy espresso machine in the lobby which is an added bonus. The staff at the front desk were kind and helpful.

This is the second time that we stayed here in an ocean front room and everything was excellent both times. We had a really great view from our balcony and it was very quiet. Other than that the beach and boardwalk is less than 100 yards from the elevators and there was plenty of onsite parking. A lot of reviews mention tight parking spots which had me a bit concerned but we found that is not the case. The spaces are plenty wide.

Fantastic Location, and we rented an Ocean Front Apartment, so that was the best part of our stay at the Henelopen. There was a delayed check-in due to the cleaning staff; we had to call to request clean towels everyday; there was no room service (trash, towels, sweeping,...) the entire stay; and the area directly outside of our door was quite filthy the entire 4 days of our stay (as was most of the hallway on the entire 4th floor). I would rate the overall stay as a 3 out of 5. They can do much better for the price customers pay to stay.
