"The photos of this property make it appear SIGNIFICANTLY nicer than it actually is. In reality, this place is VERY run down, dilapidated, and disgusting. We made a pit stop here for the night on our drive back to Maine from Myrtle Beach and immediately regretted it as soon as we got to our room. This place has total boarding house vibes. There are clearly a lot of very questionable people who live here full-time. The entire place wreaked of cigarette smoke and it was VERY noisy (music blaring, people yelling, doors slamming, etc.). Our room had mold in the bathroom, half of the lights didn't work, and the air conditioning didn't work. It was so bad that we wound up only staying for a few hours and got a refund through Expedia. Avoid booking here at all costs!!!"

"To put it plainly, this place is a dump. There were so many things in disrepair in the room that we complained. The clerk just kept saying, “It’s not broken”. .We were all set to get a different room but that one wasn’t much better and it didn’t have hot water! The entire building looks like it has been trashed and it’s filthy. If we hadn’t been so exhausted we would have left. As it was, we ended up propping a desk chair in front of the door to the room as the safety latch was broken. "

"The staff were very kind and accommodating. The room was reasonably clean but the shower doors could use a good descaling on the bottom. The breakfast was okay but the eggs were weird. The pool was closed which was why we booked there but overall I would stay again. "

"Staff is always professional. Used to be our go-to hotel whenever coming back to town, but has gone downhill some in the past few years. There has been broken or missing shampoo bottles and lack of enough towels at times. Always tough to find a parking spot in the evening as well. "

"I pretty much get the same room everytime I stay here, but it's not my choice. I just ask for the smoking room with a hot tub. This time it appears some minor renovations were done, the room appears to be in better condition but I can't pin-point what has changed. The bathroom can still use work, some new caulk work would brighten up the bathroom. I enjoy my stay here, even hot tub was working fine this time."
