The facility is spotless. The staff are helpful and friendly. Avery peaceful peice to relax and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

It’s was prefect for the one night we stayed there. The staff were very helpful with our rental car and parking in Leon.

Same price as Best Western but way better value. My room was huge and I didn't want to leave the hotel. Lobby was big and courtyard was amazing, all open. My bus didn't leave until 1 am and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was big but normal. The staff were very helpfull and good english. I thought the Catholic theme was creepy with Jesus being tortured everywhere.

Somar is a beautiful property managed by the most amazing guy, Oscar. We booked Casa Sirena suite, it said it was a king bed but it was actually a queen (it didnt matter to us). The room was clean, had a comfy bed and very cold AC! The pool and hot tub were so great, and being right on the beach allowed us to explore the beach for miles and swim in warm ocean waters with soft sand for 100+feet out. Having a restaurant on site was so nice as its a remote location with only a basic market (water,...

It was a nice stay. The room was small and very dar, but the a/c and tv were good.

Wonderful quaint hotel perfect location, i had a lovely bright room on the top floor. Delicious breakfast the staff are superb helpful and friendly. The location is great as you can shop and dine as a local!

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay here at Hotel Tranquillo . We had arrived in Las Penitas later than we had expected but Carmen reached out to make sure everything was okay . You can really tell Carmen and Jack really care about their guests and want to ensure that they feel accommodated and welcomed . The hotel grounds are beautiful . Quaint and feel like a little paradise . Rooms are spacious and so nicely decorated . It was very hot the days we were there but the property had many...

I missed my boat and got stuck in Leon for the night. Room was clean and bed comfortable and even had a hot shower! Beautiful old building, very friendly staff and location could not be more convenient.

Loved our stay. Mom and 4 kids. Beautiful space. Fantastic staff. Very helpful with local recommendations, food delivery afterhours and services in the hotel. Very comfy rooms. The included breakfast options were very diverse and delicious - lots to choose from (they offer complete menu included for breaky!). We felt the value was wonderful. Very happy there and will 100% book again if in Leon! Highly recommended. Only downside was sno hot water showers but it did not affect our stay overall....
