« Excellent communication with the host.Accommodations in Leadville are on the older side. This was our second year in Leadville, and it was a huge upgrade from last year's rental. The house is, according to Zillow, over 100 years old, so expect crooked floors and squeaking sounds when walking around in it.Now, I didn't bring a ruler, but we felt the beds were too small for queen-size beds. »

Fine experience but the unit itself could use some TLC.This was my first tiny home experience and I know space is at a premium, there was ample storage but literally not a single place to sit that was ergonomically comfortable for more than 5 minutes. We ended up just veggin' out in the beds, which was fine, but unsustainable if one actually lived here or stayed more than a few...

« The place is full of cobwebs, shower drain was slow enough that the tub was filling up slowly, and the chair in the front room is broken with the seat portion sitting in the floor. The heat was all or nothing, but it’s a very old building and only so much you can do about that. I won’t hold it against you too much. »

« There was no host there. We had three people and two blankets. Asked in advance for more blankets and had to keep asking via the messaging. It was not clear who could ask at the location. »

« Several issues impacted the experience and thus the value. Key access instructions overly complicated. The unit was cold upon arrival and took until 6-8hrs to hit room temp. The knob on the bedroom baseboard heater control was broken and a throw-blanket draped the baseboard behind the sofa. Glad we caught it. The TV's would not stay connected due to wifi signal issues. Reset router and TVs- no deal. Unable to utilize the TVs. The sofa is ready for heavy trash pickup, the cushions sinking...

« The unit is managed by Traverse Hospitality (who, apparently, sits heavily on the short rental market in Leadville). They state in the listing that you will receive a weblink outside the platform that directs guests to our guidebook for check-in procedures and others, but they DON'T tell you that the payment is to be made outside the VRBO platform.Back to the stay - we did not expect much of the unit, but we were somewhat disappointed with it.
