Lovely accommodation, with everything we needed for a nice stay.

Le loft était très propre incluant la literie toutefois à notre arrivée le spa était pratiquement vide et cerné. Toute une surprise… J’ai contacté la réception, la personne était confuse sur la situation, une personne a été dépêché, pas de solution. Un technicien de la maintenance a été dépêché, il n’avait d’info donc on a convenu de remplir le spa et attendre qu’il atteigne un température acceptable soit entre minuit et 2h00 (nuit). Pas fameux quand on quitte à 11h

The people were all genuinely nice. It’s a well located beautiful property. Was there for a wedding. Bride had asked that i - in her close wedding party be on the same floor. We were not although we had booked many many months in advance. They never came to do my room although i had asked for it to be clean with a sign from 6-2 then dnd 2-3. We got back at 11pm and there was a note saying the room hadnt been serviced. I asked at the bar what the gluten free options were/ could be. She just told me that i would need to check online. It wasnt online. I would have expected more support from the waitress, which eventually came after i asked her to please check with the kitchen. It felt like my condition was not her problem and i was a burden. There is a japanese toilet in my room which I appreciated but the seat was all yellowed from the heater which felt gross. I usually stay at the Fairmont or Germain when in quebec (or elsewhere) and i get much more of a sense of hospitality when i stay at those properties than i did at the st antoine. Nobody asked about me, my welcome amenuty had Gluten. Usually, at fairmont or germain they have it in my file. The rooms at st antoine were nicer and more curated. Overall, at the same price, I would probably go back to my usual suspects. Would not hesitate to stay there, i just feel there are better options for service.

The location was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. And the parking was easy.

When booking this hotel, there were no mention at all about of the hotel’s unique 2 elevators set up, which were very confusing to many ( All?) , and caused considerable inconvenience during our 3 nights stay at Quebec City. Even though the hotel location has excellent accessibility to the upper and lower town; the king bedroom with a sofa bed were nice and comfortable ( for 2) ; and the hotel service were polite and friendly, but honestly, we would not book this hotel if such information were provided in the first place. The following explanations were emailed to me by the hotel receptionist after checked out . ****************** As for the two-elevator system and the longer route to some of the rooms, this is related to the unique history and architecture of Le Capitole Hôtel. Our hotel brings together a newly constructed and renovated section with a historic building that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage area. Because of this unique configuration, two separate elevator systems were necessary in order to preserve the integrity of the historic building while allowing us to offer the modern facilities and comforts of the hotel. ****************** It is my opinion that If knowingly and still preferring its location and accommodation, then you would not mind the inconvenience of having negotiated with 2 different electors during your stay.
