"They have no staff for check in but a computerized system that couldn't read a credit card 30 minutes. Finally - waived the need for a extra reserve as i had ore paid room. So not cool. Floring in room worn out rest of room ok. Hvac at 73* setting air conditioner ran well below 70* at setting 74 heater to 80 ish. Breakfast: a terrible joke-coffee and cold cereal in lobby with no chairs; notables; no counter -good grief so less then acceptable ."

"We’ve stayed at the Emerald Dolphin many times and usually don’t have a complaint, until now. Rooms are alway clean except this trip there was food left in the fridge. We stayed in a King size room upstairs, it was so hot we opened the windows and ran the flimsy fan to try and circulate air. No air conditioning. The small tv was so far from the bed we had to sit on the edge to watch it. There was only one usb charger and several outlets would not hold a plug, they fell out. I think the layout could be better thought out and updated. When we checked out the gentleman at desk acted very indifferent stated it was hot because of the rain and as for the plugs he said they would replace them. Who knows if it’ll happen. "

"We love everything about ocean view Lodge. We stayed in the upstairs room and the view was fantastic of the ocean. Oceanview Lodge is definitely our favorite place to stay in Fort Bragg."

"The front desk was very communicative prior to my arrival. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a decent view of the ocean. I liked the easy access to gas stations and food establishments. The breakfast was simple but ample. The central location to beaches, shops, and tourist attractions make this hotel a great choice."
