Great spot. Hotel is very close to the beach. The beach is awesome. The food and the restaurant is not great, but the hotel is really nice

We just finished a wonderful 3 night stay at Puerta Plaza, Las Terrenas. It was outstanding. The staff were particularly helpful and we loved the large room with terrace. The property is surrounded by small restaurants and the clean beach is across the street. We plan to come again soon!

Had a wonderful vacation. Had no idea of what our choice in the D.R. was like but absolutely picked the right place. A well kept secret of D.R. Very few Canadians there,mostly Europeans. Great quiet location away from Las Terrenas but yet walking distance to all the amenities needed- shopping, restaurants,grocery stores and beaches. Climate is great, consistent temperature. My husband and I wanted a few days of sun time in early February this year. It was our first time in the Dominican Republic and we booked at the very last minute. The hotel in Silver turns the rooms are around 3 1/2 star but the place red on the ocean is optional gorgeous with the waves coming in very peaceful. Grateful walking for miles on the beach beautiful area but no swimming pool.

Clean room and staff the apartment was incredible

The staff was exceptional...from the security guards at the front ,gate ,to the reception and housekeeping..everyone was helpful with every concern , all while smiling ...location was exceptional, the restaurant and bar was very good...will definitely return

This hotel was truly enjoyable. The view of the bay was breathtaking. The staff were overall great. One of the waitresses in the restaurant was not very good at her job and did not bring any of the requested items to the table during the complimentary breakfast. I requested for tea with milk, I was almost finished eating and had still not gotten it but I seen her serving other guest. Finally my fiancé got the attention of another waiter and he helped and brought it over. The front desk staff...

Breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from. The room was beautiful, very clean and the decor was so natural and lovely to see. The grounds were immaculate, the pools with all the natural rock was stunning and the pool table was a great added touch. The staff were so friendly, polite and knowledgeable that we never felt that we were just guests to them. Highly recommend if you are looking for a romantic get away or just want to get away to relax and recharge.

Beautiful & very clean room. The staff super friendly and trying to communicate even with my poor Spanish.

We chose a beach front room. The view was fantastic. The king size bed was comfortable and the room very spacious. There was no door on the bathroom which i found very inconvenient. Every day there was a bbq where you could pick what you would like cooked. Breakfast had 2 options Dominican or continental. Both were good. The staff were wonderful and surprised my partner with cake on his birthday. Grounds are beautiful with a small pool. A very romantic place when there are no children...

Had a great stay with my teen daughter : perfect for our needs for this trip, which was entertainment for the kid and rest for the mama. Place is clean and safe. Staff is friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a very quiet vacation, this is not the place for you : latin music in on all day, all evening, pretty loud except at the beach. Food is very decent.
