It was well cooked and presented but no real vegetarian option, despite giving advance notice ( had the same as my husband, just without bacon and sausage). No mushroom available on second day, so for me it was just eggs, beans and tomato. I’m guessing it was due to newness in ownership. Lovely location and outside space. The family room was beautiful and provided us and our two young children with plenty of space. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was lovely and powerful. The room also had tea making facilities plus plenty of drawers, cupboards and wardrobe space to store your things away in. The pub is situated in a lovely quiet village and even though the rooms are situated above the restaurant, there were no loud noises coming from downstairs during both evenings which was a huge plus for us. The cooked breakfast was was spot on plus they had a variety of cereals and yoghurts you could help yourself to. We had dinner in the restaurant on one of the evenings and it was a thumbs up all round for our family- it tasted amazing. The kids enjoyed the outdoor play area - this kept them both entertained after finishing their meals. We can’t think of anything that we didn’t like about the Drayton Crown, Donna worked her socks to make everyone feel welcome and she definitely achieved that with us.
